Supplier Quality Engineer

This position is to support the development process for new products and help improve current products. The position involves coordinating with suppliers hands-on fabricating or modifying components and support systems for new products and existing product improvement.

Job Desc

· Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that industry-accepted best practices is used.

· Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

· Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases; coordinate internally and externally to address QA issues/concerns.

· Develop and execute test cases, sc

· Evaluate products with DFM, DFA and FMEA techniques.

· Perform a variety of campaign activities alone or as part of a group.

· Inspect and manage port discrepant parts program.

· Participate in new accessory installation trials.

· Participate in new model launch related programs.

· Monitor trial process for all products and prototype all equipment.

· Assist project managers and engineers.

· Prepare oral and written reports for all product development activities and analyze performance.

· Gather inspection data Ｏn new products to refine customer specs.

· Become technical expert at current products to provide support for engineering and the manufacturing operations for Madison Air companies.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· 3+ years demonstrated experience in quality product or process development in a commercial environment.

· Strong technical ability.

· Focus Ｏn quality.

· Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Strong work ethic and team pla

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or a related field.

· Strong computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft products.

· Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts and practices.
