Sr.Product Development（产品高级开发员）

RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Own product lifecycle, from inception, sampling process into product launch, as well as any post launch issue resolution, with the ability to manage across multiple seasons & collections .
2. Create and maintain tracking system that allows cross - functional teams to easily access PD materials and information .
3. Exhibit and execute Ｏn extensive knowledge of product construction specific to travel bags and accessory category .
4. Review and analyze techpack to ensure production feasibility.
5. Ensure all products and samples have achieved the construction, color and brand standards set forth by the design.
6. Manage any updates through the development process with the factories and internal team.
7. Research and stay up to date Ｏn trends in the category as well as trends in manufacturing, sustainability and materials.
8. Work directly with suppliers Ｏn tracking project progress ensuring team's adherence to deliverables at every stage in the process.
9. Coordinate with all manufacturers, suppliers and factories Ｏn any manufacturing issues or delays and work internally and externally to find solutions and / or alternatives .
10. Drive sourcing efforts around desired pricing and product needs, negotiate costs with factories .
11. Leverage existing and develop new manufacturing and sourcing relationships globally, intorducing new, unique and innovative product, materials and components to the team.
12. Communicate development challenges to management Ｏn a timely basis, while offering alternative solutions .
13. Understand and manage QA / QC process, testing protocols, and regulations as they apply to product.

14. Conduct internal and use testing to ensure product delivers Ｏn design intention and functional needs.
15. Manage product testing timeline and protocols to ensure all product meets or exceeds testing requriements relevant to each product and use.
16. Organize project details meticulously to ensure specs are precise, timelines tracked , and deadlines met.

QUALIFICATION :
1. In - depth knowledge of handbag and back pack construction. Luggage knowledge is a plus.

2. Ability to understand tech packs to provide construction and material suggestion to design team.
3. Cross check sample against tech pack to ensure accurate execution when needed.
4. Full understanding of product cycle - ability to take concept through production.
5. Strong understanding of material characteristics, dying process and finishes .
6. Ability to dissect BOMs, and negotiate pricing to meet margins without sacrificing quality and aesthetics.
7. Strong communicator with the ability to multi - task and adhere to timeline.
8. A meticulous attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
9. Ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast - paced and continuously changing environment
10. A positive and professional attitude with a team - player outlook and an outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality .
11. The ability to work independently in a fast - paced environment , think critically, manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
12. Knowledge of and strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers in the category
13. Ability to travel to manufacturer and suppliers in different countries to review and discuss product, and to help build and maintain factory relationships .
